Kearsten’s Graduation Session
When I had a creative discussion with Kearsten about her graduation photos, she had a clear vision of what she wanted. After seeing a reel that was circulating on Instagram, Kearsten wanted to revisit her elementary, middle, and high school. The idea was to capture shots of the graduate walking past the signs at each school and run these clips together. I thought it was such a cute idea, and it worked out perfectly that each of her schools were located in the same area. Kearsten, her mom, and I carpooled and started out at the high school, continuing on to middle school and ending at the elementary school. The photos we took started out pretty standard, and as we went on we got more creative. By the middle of the photoshoot, Kearsten and I were having lots of fun and I enjoyed hearing her and her mom’s pose ideas. We worked together very well, and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out. One of my favorite things about the photoshoot was ending at Kearsten’s elementary playground. She was excited to relive old memories, and we captured photos at some of the spots that she remembered the most. The results are full of nostalgia. It makes me so happy knowing that Kearsten and her family are going to treasure these photos for many years to come.
